Medical ICU Nurse Manager, MICU, CC/ICU, RN, Nurse, $90K+

he Nurse Manager of Medical Intensive Care Unit responsible for overseeing all aspects of nursing care delivered to our Medical Intensive Care Unit 8 acute care and 14 sub-acute care patients. Responsible for assigning, directing and evaluating the work of all nursing personnel and utilizing managerial and clinical expertise to ensure quality nursing care is delivered.  Ensures appropriate staffing, schedules, regulatory compliance, performance improvement, etc.  Excellent interpersonal skills both written & verbal.  Strong decision making, critical thinking, & team building skills. 
Compensation varies with experience between $75,000 - $95,000 or ore.  Opportunity for Sign-on Bonus & Relocation Assistance.  This is a full-time, permanent positions with benefits & unlimited growth potential. 

Job Requirements

The Nurse Manager must have at least 3 - 5 years of recent Intensive Care, Critical Care/ICU, Medical ICU, Sub-acute experience or experience in any other related acute care unit.  Previous leadership experience is required as well.  BSN is preferred, but not required.  ACLS & BLS Certifications preferred.  Strong leadership and communication skills are a must!

CVOR Registered Nurse, Operating Room / OR Nurse, $5,000 BONUS

Actively seeking CVOR Registered Nurse!!  The CVOR Nurse must be a Registered Nurse with operating room experience & previous experience scrubbing cardiothoracic or surgical hearts cases. Must be able to scrub!  The CVOR Nurse is responsible for providing pre & post-operative care to surgical patients.  Participates in the care of patients receiving conscious sedation, carries out physician orders, administers prescribed medications, applies dressings, monitors vital signs, etc. Maintains patient records, adheres to sterile techniques, & orients/precepts new hres as needed. 

Compensation varies with experience between 45,000 - 65,000 or more.  *** Limited time only offering a $5,000 SIGN ON BONUS for qualified applicants & $3,000 RELOCATION!!! 

Job Requirements

The CVOR Registered Nurse must possess a FL State RN License or the ability to gain state licensure.  Must have at least 1-2 years of Operating Room experience as a Registered Nurse.  CNOR Certification.  Previous experience scrubbing open-heart, cardiothoracic, of cardiac surgical patients.  Must be able to scrub OR cases.

    Clinical Nurse Specialist - UTMB/CMC Hospital Medicine

    The clinical specialist will function in the role of a Clinical Nurse
    Specialist/WoundCare Program to establish standards of care and
    clinical competencies to meet patient needs and training programs to
    ensure clinical expertise. Provides consultation to all facilities for
    complex wound, ostomy and incontinence patients according to CMC
    referral criteria and standards. Takes leadership role in development, coordination and monitoring of CMC’S wound care program, and monitors and works to improve clinical outcomes.

    Major Duties / Critical Tasks:

    o Demonstrates and implements agency wound care program to include patient care protocols, documentation tools, wound care formulary and referral criteria.
    o Establishes standards of care, competencies, policies and procedures in quality, cost-efficient, and effective wound care for all clinical staff, including: Facility Provider, Registered Nurses, Physical Therapists and Licensed Vocational Nurses.
    o Through training and support, empowers all clinical staff to effectively assess wounds, recommend appropriate protocols, and advocates with Medical Providers.
